The Thucydidean Approach to History

Episode 4 of our free look inside the History At Our House classroom. This week: we look at what the historian Thucydides had to say about the approach to history, in contrast to Ranke (who we had a look at last week). In a way, the Thucydidean approach underlies a lot of what goes on at History At Our House: looking at history as something that teaches us about values - what matters, and how it is won and how it is lost.
